 What you'll need to succeed

• Be a motivated team player with good client relation skills
• Have a passion for customer service and the art of cosmetology.
• Have a valid, updated State of California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology license (applicants must already have a license or provide proof of a scheduled test date. If hired, they will then receive an advanced complimentary training program at Strands with potential of official employment.)
• 1-2 years previous salon experience
• Open to hair education

• Be able to commit to a full-time employment schedule of Tuesday through Saturday with two evenings a week — ideally. But we understand you have life responsibilities, and during our conversation we'll learn what those are and how we might make it work.
• English proficiency
